CCA Family,
I
hope this note finds you and your family having a wonderful summer!
Your
Board and I are committed to working hard at finding ways to improve
CCA wherever possible, and that is the reason for this
correspondence.
The
weak economy is affecting practically all of us in one way or
another. The Board took action at their last meeting on one
way it could help relieve CCA families of some of their financial
obligations, which is supplementing the present uniform policy with
an economical option from walmart.com. Please take note of the
following:
Nothing
has changed with the Land’s End and Dennis Uniform items that were
on our 2009-2010 Uniform Policy! You are free to continue
purchasing and using those uniforms like you did last year.

please order the boys polo shirts for boys and girls if
you wish to buy uniform shirts from walmart.com. There is no
CCA uniform equivalent girls polo shirt at walmart.com.
- Please
note that only KHAKI pants and shorts, and only NAVY
shirts, from walmart.com have been added to our uniform policy.
Again, the Board’s goal was to be sensitive to the present
economic condition by adding a few walmart.com items to our uniform
policy, thereby providing a simple, economical alternative. walmart.com
may not have the size you need for an item. In that case,
please purchase the Land’s End equivalent that is on our uniform
policy. Please remember that this is a supplement to the
uniform policy for your convenience, but not everything in every
size will always be available.
- ANY
walmart.com uniform item may be returned to the Clinton Wal-Mart
store for a refund. This will save you from having to package
and ship items back.
- If
you wish to purchase a multi-pack, you can find two-packs and
sometimes three-packs of the exact same item at walmart.com.
The links listed above are only for one-packs. Please be very
diligent in determining that you are ordering the same exact pieces
of clothing that are linked to above.
- Our
local Wal-Mart store does not carry these uniforms. They will
have to be purchased from walmart.com.
The
Board has asked me to remind parents that our uniform policy is not
a dress code. At CCA our uniform policy is carried out on the
honor system. This is a great opportunity to teach
responsibility and character to the children. Substituting
items outside of our uniform policy is not only breaking a school
rule, but it is also teaching our children to disrespect authority.
Please respect the school’s uniform policy.
